The Celebration Company (ACN: 156 645 626) trading as The Celebration Travel Company (BN98629364) prepares and processes travel bookings including accommodation at hotels, villas, or apartments, local transport, sightseeing, activities, meals, and entertainment, in countries other than Australia.
In order to process these travel arrangements, there is certain information we need from you. This information may be provided directly by you, or via a third party, such as a travel agent. It may be provided in writing via email, on-line in our booking enquiry screen on our website, or by telephone. We only collect information that is necessary for us to process the services you arrange through us. The personal information we collect from you can vary depending on the amount of services we arrange for you, however, the following mandatory information is required by us to process arrangements for all members travelling in your party:
Date of Birth
Passport expiry date
We will also require the following information of the organiser within your party:
Phone number and email address, to correspond with you when making travel arrangements, to receive our newsletters, and for the purpose of emailing accounting and travel documentation
Credit card number or other payment details, including billing address
We collect this personal information primarily for the purpose of booking accommodation with overseas accommodation providers, liaison with local restaurant, meal venues, sightseeing or activity service providers. Passport details are only disclosed to hotels as required.
The personal information you provide us will be disclosed to third party suppliers, predominantly located outside Australia, only for the purpose of booking your travel arrangements. By requesting us to book for your travel arrangements, you understand that the personal information you provide us, as outlined in this policy, will be disclosed to overseas recipients whose privacy policies may differ to those of Australia, and that we have no control over the privacy practices of those overseas recipients. If you do not wish to provide all the information requested, we may not be able to provide some of the services required to complete your travel arrangements.
We publish newsletters and conduct on-line surveys which require use of a recipient’s email address. You have the option not to be included in our newsletter database by un-ticking the appropriate box when completing your booking form on-line, or advising us when making your reservation by phone. You also have the option at any time to “unsubscribe” by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link on our newsletter.
We do not provide any of our subscriber’s email addresses to other parties.
If you request us to process a new travel insurance policy for you, additional personal information may be required depending on the policies of the insurance company we act as an agent for. We will alert you to this additional information prior to finalising your travel insurance policy.
